Director, Order-to-Cash

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Order-To-Cash to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will partner with sales leadership, HR centers of excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders to align talent priorities with commercial execution. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $159,500 – $233,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Set credit policies, establish limits, and manage credit risk exposure
• Lead and develop a team, setting performance expectations
• Drive collections strategy, including dispute resolution and DSO reduction initiatives
• Partner with Sales and Revenue Accounting to resolve billing discrepancies
• Oversee billing operations, including invoice generation and payment applications
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in credit, collections, billing, or order-to-cash, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role
• Experience managing AR portfolios with B2B customers
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale credit risk frameworks
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and CRM platforms (Salesforce)
• Analytical orientation with the ability to translate AR data into actionable insights
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, public company environment
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
