Director, Order to Cash

Description

We are looking for a Director, Order to Cash to optimize our current processes from customer set-up to order to invoice closure through cash applications. The goal is to value stream map the current process and identify improvement activities across the entire enterprise (which goes beyond Finance to include customer service, customer master, credit, collections, billing, and Treasury).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, and related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive, demonstrated Order to Cash experience.
• 10+ years in a related progressive management role with end-to-end process accountability and a global scope.
• Experience developing global Order to Cash governance, policies, and processes, with a strong focus on internal controls.
• Experience building out shared service capabilities, including KPI reporting.
• Experience leading large teams, developing talent, and holding team members accountable.
• Proven ability to implement continuous improvement practices including identifying root cause, creating action plan, and implementing plan with full support of all parties/departments impacted.
• Ability to build trust cross functionally with all levels of the organization and effectively communicate/influence to drive strategy & vision.
• Strong analytical background to understand how to leverage data to influence business decisions.
• Strong grasp of systems and transactional detail as well as the ability to maintain a high-level contextual view will be paramount.
• Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and resolution skills.

• Lead, develop, and mentor the team using industry best practices and expertise to help them grow and achieve performance and productivity targets.
