Responsibilities
- Lead with purpose. Deliver with urgency. Change lives.
- Own the success of a critical, federally funded initiative designed to prevent suicide and strengthen support systems for those who have served.
- Ensure that no veteran falls through the cracks due to delays, lack of coordination, or poor execution.
- Lead a program that must operate with precision, integrity, and measurable impact.
- Balance urgency with thoughtful decision-making while never losing sight of compassion and dignity in service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred (public administration, social work, behavioral health, or related field)
- 5+ years in behavioral health, suicide prevention, veteran services, or related field
- 3+ years in leadership or program oversight
- Proven experience managing grant compliance, reporting, and performance metrics
- Strong understanding of care coordination, crisis systems, and community partnerships
- Ability to lead with both accountability and empathy
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
Skills
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of federal grant requirements and regulations
