Director of Sales, Building Automation (Data Centers)
About the role
Honeywell Technologies is hiring a Sales Director, Building Automation (Data Centers) to lead the Data Center vertical within the Honeywell Building Automation group. This role will be fully remote, with 40% domestic travel, and will report to the Vice President of Sales.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of vertical strategy, demand generation, and optimize the growth of the Data Center vertical.
Spearhead new business initiatives through direct sales and channel partnerships.
Design and prioritize elements of the solution based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Manage finance forecasting and reporting cycles, ensuring activity, pipeline, opportunities, and order flow align with targets.
Engage closely with customers to co-create innovative Honeywell solutions addressing critical needs and challenges.
Analyze customer behavior using data-driven insights to create compelling narratives highlighting how our solutions resolve challenges.
Champion specific customer journeys, owning the associated business portfolio.
Identify and cultivate key vertical partnerships with external stakeholders, collaboratively preparing functional and technical specifications with Application Engineering.
Closely monitor market landscape evolution and adapt to changing conditions to best address growth opportunities.
Qualifications
10+ years of strategic sales experience within the building automation industry, specifically in the data center vertical.
Experience in people leadership and management.
Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to navigate fast-paced environments, collaborating with diverse teams across a highly matrixed organization.
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
Familiarity with Six Sigma development processes and methodologies.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $244,000 - $293,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $244,000 - $293,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
