About the role
The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) will lead the therapy team at Pavilion Health & Rehab, a skilled nursing facility.Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and insurance requirements
- Train and mentor staff members
- Participate in performance evaluations and professional development activities
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Certified Orthotist/Clinical Orthotist Assistant (COTA)
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience in managing a therapy department
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
