Director of Operations – Mandarin Fluency Required

Responsibilities

• Operate as the full owner of one of our portfolio companies in the Los Angeles area, overseeing clinic strategy development and execution.
• Coach and train Clinic Managers on optimizing clinic operations and managing the P&L, KPIs, and adherence to SOPs.
• Support management of the Annie Aesthetic Operations Associate assigned to each clinic.
• Coach and train junior members of the team on management of clinics and various internal workstreams.
• Lead the post-close integration for new acquisitions, including onboarding clinic employees and Zenoti (EMR) implementation.
• Develop cross-functional project plans, Strategy decks, SOPs, and checklists for day-to-day operations.
• Use strategic frameworks and project management techniques to guide people through uncertainty and manage multiple priorities.
• Partner with Clinic Managers and the Zenoti team to troubleshoot issues and optimize software utilization.
• Interface with third-party vendors for daily clinic needs and ad-hoc items such as pharma/clinical, marketing, IT, maintenance/building management, etc.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to business licenses, permits, and clinical compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of experience in consulting or operations management, with a focus on multi-site operations or M&A
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a focus on results
• Track record of successfully managing multiple work streams and optimizing processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and sensitively
• Advanced user of Excel; EMR and/or CRM experience is a plus
• Technology integration experience is preferred
