Director of Operations Home Health

About the role

The role involves serving as the local chief executive agent, leading operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local chief executive agent.
• Lead the local provider(s) in better caring for the community.
• Contribute to the overall success of the company.
• Ensure the execution of operations daily.
• Manage operations, services, personnel performance, and office management.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed physician, registered nurse, or hold a bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in health service administration.
• Must not have been employed as an administrator in the last year due to enforcement actions.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Must have intermediate technology skills, including the ability to operate a mobile device.

Education and Experience

• Preferred: A licensed physician, registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or a licensed nursing home administrator with at least one year of management experience.
• Previous experience in home health care or hospice programs is preferred.
• Education and experience vary by state, with specific requirements outlined in the state-specific sections.

Requirements

• Valid state driver license.
• Dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Able to safely drive in all weather conditions.
