Director of Operations Home Health

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local chief executive agent. Lead the local provider(s) in a better way to care for the community in which it serves, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
• Ensure the execution of operations are completed daily. Manage operations, services, personnel performance, and office management ongoing.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed physician, registered nurse, or possess a bachelor degree.
• Must have demonstrated experience in health service administration with at least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
• Must not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business; further described in the company compliance policies.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a home care office.
• Must have intermediate demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Education and Experience, Preferred

• A licensed physician, registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or a licensed nursing home administrator with at least one year of management and supervisory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Previous experience in a home health care or hospice program is preferred.

• DELAWARE: Must have a Bacculaereate degree with five years home health care experience and one year of supervisory experience in home health; or must be a registered nurse with five years health care experience and one year of supervisory experience.
• FLORIDA: Must be administrator for only one agency; or manage up to five agencies located within one agency geographic service area or within immediate contiguous counties and have identical controlling interest.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver license
