About the role

The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of a dairy manufacturing facility. This role oversees all aspects of production, maintenance, engineering, quality, sanitation, warehousing, and continuous improvement to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality dairy products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• Minimum 10+ years of plant leadership experience in dairy manufacturing
• Experience with aseptic or ESL dairy processing
• Strong background in continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and operational excellence
• Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and plant-level financials
• Proven ability to lead large teams across operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance
• Demonstrated success improving efficiency, cost, and production performance
• Strong technical understanding of UHT, ESL, and filling/packaging systems
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership

Pay

$160,000 - $220,000 per year
