About the Role
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing to administer and manage Nursing Services for residents. In this role, you will oversee 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services, direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care, and assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Nursing Services in accordance with physicians' orders and residents' total needs.
- Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
- Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
- Prior experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Assisted Living (AL), or Memory Care (MC) setting required.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A passion for working with seniors and a flexible, energetic personality.
