Director of Nursing (LPN or RN)
Responsibilities
- Works with caregivers to ensure the principles of assisted living and Bickford’s culture are integrated into all aspects of resident care.
- Develops and participates in the on-call schedule to support clinical needs after hours.
- Maintains regulatory compliance.
- Communicates proactively and effectively with residents/families to enhance their engagement.
- Oversees and manages the process and employees who administer resident medications ensuring they are delivered to residents in accordance with their physician’s orders.
- Collaborates with external care providers and physicians to ensure resident needs are met.
- Manages partnerships with local vendors to ensure quality external care providers are servicing the residents within the branch.
Qualifications
- RN license.
- Willingness to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Possesses written and verbal skills for effective communication.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Pay & Schedule
Pay is available daily, and bonuses are eligible.
Benefits
Full-time employees are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products), while part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Identity Protection, and Cyber Monitoring.
