About the role
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing | DON | RN to join their team. The role involves administering and managing Nursing Services, 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services, and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, the Director of Nursing will assume responsibility for center operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents.
- 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
- Directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
- Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
- Aceptable Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role.
