About the role
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the Nursing Services department.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents according to physician orders and residents' needs.
- Supervise Nursing Services 24/7 and direct the Nursing Department to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Requirements
- Currently licensed RN in the state of practice.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role.
Qualifications
- A strong passion for working with seniors.
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
