About the role
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the Nursing Services department. Duties include administering and managing Nursing Services, supervising the department, and assuming center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents according to physician orders and residents' needs.
- Supervise Nursing Services 24/7 and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
- Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Requirements
- Licensed RN in the state of practice.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Prior experience in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility/assisted living/memory care setting.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role.
Qualifications
