About the role
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the Nursing Services department. Duties include administering and managing Nursing Services, 24-hour supervision, and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, the DON assumes responsibility for center operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician orders and residents' total needs.
- Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
- Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role.
Qualifications
- A fire and passion for working with seniors.
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school (preferred).
