Director of Fitness & Rehabilitation Services - CCRC

Overview

Join an in-house therapy and wellness program serving residents across a full continuum of care (Independent Living, Assisted Living/Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing) with a strong emphasis on outpatient rehab and wellness. This is a highly visible leadership role for a clinician-leader who enjoys program development, team building, and operational excellence in a resident-focused community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Rehabilitation and Fitness/Wellness departments
• Drive program development (rebuilding/growing outpatient rehab and wellness offerings)
• Manage staffing strategy, scheduling oversight, and staff utilization
• Own budget oversight, internal marketing, and service line growth initiatives
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and excellent resident experience
• Maintain strong collaboration with interdisciplinary and executive leadership partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PT, OT, or SLP (Master’s preferred)
• For SLP candidates: ASHA CCC required
• 3+ years of direct patient care experience
• Leadership experience (director/manager preferred; strong emerging leaders considered)
• Working knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing
• PREFERRED: leadership experience in a CCRC or multi-setting environment; strong outpatient rehab leadership welcomed
