Director of Fitness

About the role

The Director of Fitness oversees all fitness programs and initiatives at our state-of-the-art facility. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fitness programs that meet the needs of our diverse clientele.
• Oversee the training and development of all fitness staff.
• Ensure all fitness equipment is properly maintained and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate fitness programming into overall business strategy.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of fitness programs and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading fitness programs.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Experience with fitness program design and implementation.
• Knowledge of various fitness modalities including cardio, strength training, and yoga.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team.

Pay

Schedule
