About the role
The Director of Entera Programs is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and ongoing growth of Entera's integrative and functional medicine programs. This role serves as a key bridge between clinical vision and program execution, ensuring that Entera's services are thoughtfully designed, effectively delivered, and aligned with the overall mission and strategic direction of Enterhealth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Entera programs and service offerings.
- Partner with clinical and executive leadership to identify opportunities for new programs based on patient needs, clinical expertise, market demand, and organizational priorities.
- Develop clear program structures, including objectives, patient pathways, services, resources, timelines, and measures of success.
- Evaluate existing programs and recommend enhancements based on outcomes, patient experience, provider feedback, and organizational goals.
- Help establish a cohesive portfolio of programs that reflects Entera's integrative and functional medicine approach.
- Coordinate the launch and implementation of new programs from initial concept through full execution.
- Develop workflows and processes to ensure programs can be delivered consistently and efficiently.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure appropriate staffing, scheduling, technology, space, and resources are available to support each program.
- Establish timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables for program launches and ongoing initiatives.
- Identify barriers to successful implementation and work collaboratively with leadership to develop solutions.
- Work closely with physicians and clinical providers to ensure programs appropriately reflect Entera's clinical philosophy and standards of care.
- Facilitate collaboration among providers and disciplines involved in a patient's care.
- Support the development of coordinated patient pathways that may incorporate medical care, nutrition, lifestyle interventions, diagnostic testing, wellness services, and other appropriate services.
- Ensure operational components support, rather than interfere with, the provider-patient relationship.
- Ensure programs are designed around an exceptional, personalized patient experience.
- Develop processes that help patients understand their program, services, expectations, and next steps.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient engagement, participation, retention, and continuity of care.
- Review patient feedback and collaborate with the appropriate teams to improve the program experience.
- Promote a consistent experience across Entera programs while maintaining the individualized nature of functional and integrative medicine.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for Entera programs.
- Track program participation, patient engagement, retention, outcomes, utilization, and other relevant measures.
- Regularly evaluate program performance and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Use data, patient feedback, and provider feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with leadership to determine when programs should be expanded, modified, or redesigned.
- Stay informed about developments and emerging opportunities within integrative medicine, functional medicine, wellness, and preventive health.
- Identify innovative services and program concepts that align with Entera's mission and patient population.
- Partner with marketing and business development teams to effectively communicate Entera's programs to patients, referral sources, and the broader community.
- Assist in developing educational materials, program descriptions, and resources that clearly communicate the value and purpose of Entera's services.
- Support strategic partnerships and initiatives that expand Entera's reach and program offerings.
- Lead cross-functional projects related to program development and implementation.
- Establish clear expectations, timelines, and accountability for program-related initiatives.
- Facilitate communication among clinical, operational, marketing, and administrative teams.
- Provide guidance and support to employees involved in program coordination and delivery.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure programs are developed and delivered in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and clinical standards.
- Partner with clinical and operational leadership to maintain appropriate documentation, workflows, patient privacy, and quality standards.
- Identify potential program risks or gaps and work with leadership to develop appropriate solutions.
- Support quality improvement initiatives related to Entera programs and patient services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Health Sciences, Program Management, or a related field preferred.
- Advanced degree or relevant clinical background is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare program development, clinical operations, program management, or a related healthcare leadership role preferred.
- Experience with integrative medicine, functional medicine, wellness, preventive health, or other patient-centered healthcare models is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement programs from concept through execution.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate data and program performance and translate findings into actionable improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical providers, leadership, employees, and external partners.
