Director of Electrical Engineering, P.E.
About the role
The candidate will be an expert in their field with an excellent understanding of how their discipline interacts within projects, company, and clients. They will manage and coordinate activities of the department, coordinate scheduling requirements of projects, assign personnel, determine personnel needed with the most appropriate individual qualities, ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of departmental work, comply with established standards, procedures, and codes, and meet deadlines. They will provide training, technical guidance, and instruction to personnel within the department, review timesheets of department personnel, manage hiring, performance appraisals, salary recommendations, and employee development, develop departmental policies, technical standards, and procedures, assist in developing and coordinating interdepartmental policies, procedures, and standards, and function as Senior Engineer 6 as necessary to meet project requirements, project schedules, and company goals.
Responsibilities

Requirements
Must have 11+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in power engineering. Must have a P.E. license. Strong leadership and management skills are required. Proficiency in project management software is preferred.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) License. Extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in power engineering. Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Pay
$100,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
