Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
- Product Development:
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical engineering solutions, including Medium Voltage Transformers, Low Voltage Switchboards, and Medium Voltage Switchgear.
- Expertise Utilization:
- Apply your in-depth knowledge of medium voltage transformers, low voltage switchboards, medium voltage switchgear, relays, power distribution engineering, CAD, distribution design, and related areas to drive innovation and quality.
- Project Oversight:
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are executed on time and meet technical specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with other departments such as manufacturing, sales, and quality assurance to ensure seamless product development and successful launches.
- BS in Electrical Engineering is required. MS/PhD Preferred.
- PE is good to have but NOT required for this role.
- Must have 10+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer in designing or engineering power/utilities(substation) to include direct experience with NEC and NETA codes in LV/MV transformers, switchgear and panelboards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process and procedures of LV/MV transformers, switchgear and panelboards a big plus but not required.
- Knowledge of: UL 1066, 489, 89, 1558, IEEE C37
