About the role

The Director of Digital Media oversees the external and internal communications produced by the full-time and volunteer staff of the Oregon Football program. The director focuses on innovating or improving external communication efforts for social accounts and print media, and the program’s recruiting efforts of prospective student-athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing strategies for the Oregon Football program.
  • Manage and maintain social media platforms for the program, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff and student-athletes to create compelling content for recruitment purposes.
  • Develop and implement branding strategies for the Oregon Football program.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations regarding recruiting and digital media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Two years of experience as a graphic designer working within a collegiate or professional football program.
  • Knowledge and experience with NCAA compliance rules and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience running a Power 5 Football Social Media Account.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with the recruitment process for Division I football student-athletes.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with video editing and production tools.
