Director of Critical Care
Job Summary
You will participate as an administrative member of the leadership team and assume the 24-hour responsibility and direction of the operations of the Adult Critical Care Units as well as direct oversight of one of the individual Adult Critical Care Units as needed. You will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of comprehensive Adult Critical Care Nursing services by planning, directing, managing, and evaluating the day-to-day operations of the units. Responsible for problem resolution within assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing BSN required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or related health field required (or actively in progress required)
- Minimum 3 years experience in an acute care setting required
- Minimum of 1 year management and leadership experience required
- BLS, ACLS Certification required
- Certification required in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Nursing Administration, or other applicable nursing certification preferred
