Job Overview
The client works with household names across banking, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing, and is now scaling its AI and analytics practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the commercial face of the firm's AI, analytics, and data platform offerings
- Generate own pipeline, shape deals, and steer them to signature
- Land new logos and grow wallet share in existing accounts
- Close strategic engagements frequently running into seven figures
- Operate as a hunting role, not account farming
Key Requirements
- At least 7 years selling into enterprise accounts, with a minimum of 2 years focused on data, analytics, or cloud platform services
- Consistent record of hitting and beating quota while selling data, analytics, or cloud solutions
- Hands-on experience closing Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable data platform deals, ideally co-selling with field and partner teams
- Comfortable steering long, multi-threaded enterprise deals with individual contract values at $500K and above
- Background as an individual contributor carrying a quota inside a consulting or professional services business
- Educated to degree level in business, computer science, or similar; postgraduate qualification is a plus
Key Skills
- Fluent in modern, value-led sales frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC or Challenger) and disciplined about applying them
- Enough grasp of data warehousing, design, and analytics use cases for credible technical conversations
- Able to translate value of Databricks and Snowflake into business language for executives, with working view of AI, ML, and generative AI commercial trends
- Understands competitive landscape (Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, Google, Palantir)
- Boardroom presence to win trust of C-suite and senior decision-makers
- Methodical about territory and account planning, rigorous in CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)
- Bridges live network across AI, analytics, and data platform world (ISVs, integrators, enterprise buyers)
Preferred Background
- Data and analytics consultancies, systems integrators, or cloud and data platform vendors
Work Arrangement
Full-time remote with occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, and partner conferences.
