About the role

We are looking for a passionate Director, Marketing Biolage Hair Care US who excels at brand storytelling and out-of-the-box retail thinking to join our Biolage team. The Director will translate Biolage's big bets into store animations via merchandising, impactful retail animations, and planograms. This position adds value to marketing and sales by supporting the physical articulation of the Biolage brand, driving traffic and sales within pro distribution and consumer outlets. The candidate should be able to increase retail product sales through successful campaign and merchandising strategies.

This position requires strong creative skills, communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and presentation of the Biolage brand within national accounts (Amazon, Ulta, JCP as well as SalonCentric and BSG professional stores).
  • Works with DMI, Marketing Team, A&I, Visual Merchandising, and Sales counterparts to implement successful merchandising and store programs that support the brand’s storytelling, big bets, and core business.
  • Leads forecasts, marketing budget, inventory for customers, promotional activities, and product launches.
  • Acts as main liaison between CDMO PPD Media lead to ensure campaign launches are on time, creative needs are met, and campaigns are optimized.
  • Analyzes monthly performance of accounts and identifies opportunities. Responsible for monthly write-up to leadership on business performance.
  • Works closely with Visual Merchandising lead to ensure planogram updates are initiated and changed (~2x a year).

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree.
  • Professional Products/salon background with 3-5 years of experience working in a sales, marketing, or category management capacity.
  • Strong & effective business communication—written and oral skills.
  • Achievement orientation, information seeking, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Adaptable/flexible in a changing environment.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Pay

Salary Range: $117,300 - $164,200
