About the role
The Director, Marketing position is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced B2B marketer. The role involves defining market presence, messaging, and growth strategy for a technology platform intersecting finance and innovation. It combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution across various marketing functions.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the full marketing strategy across demand generation, brand, product marketing, content, events, partnerships, and revenue-focused initiatives.
- Build and optimize demand generation programs across paid, organic, email, and partner channels, with clear pipeline targets and performance reporting.
- Define positioning, messaging, and market narratives for diverse audiences, including technical teams, business leaders, financial institutions, and investors.
- Lead product marketing initiatives, including launches, feature announcements, sales enablement materials, and post-launch performance measurement.
- Create and manage thought leadership initiatives, including articles, whitepapers, webinars, newsletters, and industry content.
- Own event strategy, conference participation, customer communications, and partner marketing programs.
- Manage marketing technology platforms, attribution processes, funnel analytics, and reporting on marketing contribution to revenue.
- Hire, mentor, and develop marketing talent while establishing scalable processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience owning marketing strategy, pipeline generation, and revenue-driven outcomes.
- Strong understanding of fintech, embedded finance, banking technology, payments infrastructure, or related technology markets.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical and regulated products into clear, compelling messaging for multiple audiences.
- Experience leading product launches and cross-functional marketing initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience managing marketing metrics, attribution, and performance optimization.
- Ability to thrive in a lean, high-growth environment where strategic planning and hands-on execution are equally important.
- Experience marketing to financial institutions, banks, credit unions, or fintech ecosystems is a strong advantage.
