About the role

The Director of Leadership and Organization Development will set strategy and direction for an integrated talent management plan that supports the Hospital’s mission, vision and core values, goals and objectives, growth and expansion, and visibility as an employer and hospital of choice. This role is responsible for full range of Talent Management activities with an emphasis on organizational development.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with VP/CHRO, CEO, Senior Leadership Team, HR Team, and other leaders of the organization to set strategy and direction for an integrated talent management plan.
  • Manage and implement executive development, leadership development, succession planning, change management, management training, professional development, organization development, courseware design and delivery.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Facilitate impactful and effective delivery to audiences at all levels.
  • Use 360 feedback, survey and assessment instruments to support talent management activities.
  • Avoid oversights and ensure timely completion of tasks within deadlines.
  • Show strategic thinking and hands-on implementation experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Master’s degree in related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role as head of Learning, Talent Management or Organization Development. Top job of function preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience in executive development, leadership development, succession planning, change management, management training, professional development, organization development, courseware design and delivery and related talent management functions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience as a facilitator with a track record of impactful and effective delivery to audiences at all levels.
  • Experience with 360 feedback, survey and assessment instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and advanced preparation.
  • Ability to anticipate and assess needs then action appropriately within deadlines and required time-frames.
