The Director, Integrated Marketing role at Expedia Group is responsible for shaping and scaling Brand Expedia’s integrated marketing approach across commercial and lifecycle moments. This role requires a strategic and commercially savvy marketing leader with deep experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, campaign development, and lifecycle or CRM marketing.

About the role

This role sits at the center of brand, business, and traveler needs—owning the brand value proposition and visual identity consistency, leading retail and commercial campaigns, and driving loyalty and CRM motions that support growth, engagement, and repeat booking behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Shape Brand Expedia’s value proposition and blueprint, inclusive of messaging hierarchies and implementation toolkits, ensuring consistent language and brand expression across marketing, product, partner, and service touchpoints.

  • Drive the rollout of visual identity systems and retail toolkits that bring the brand blueprint to life across channels, in close partnership with creative, brand design, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Own the strategy and execution of retail and commercial campaigns, including global sales, regional limited-time offers, product and commercial launches, and always-on messaging.

  • Build global integrated campaign plans and messaging frameworks that help Expedia respond quickly to market opportunities, seasonal retail moments, launch needs, and evolving business priorities.

  • Lead loyalty and CRM motions for Expedia One Key and broader lifecycle marketing, simplifying positioning and messaging while improving member engagement, comprehension, and repeat behavior through integrated marketing and CRM planning.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Merchandising, TEaL, Legal, regional markets, and channel owners to align messaging, creative development, campaign readiness, and business outcomes.

  • Use data, testing, and performance insights to optimize campaigns and scale repeatable ways of working across commercial and lifecycle marketing programs.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on direction in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment.

Requirements

A strategic and commercially savvy marketing leader with deep experience across integrated marketing, brand strategy, campaign development, and lifecycle or CRM marketing. Proven ability to translate business priorities into clear messaging, scaled campaign programs, and compelling customer-facing experiences. Strong operator who can move between long-term brand building and near-term commercial delivery. Experienced in leading cross-functional initiatives across creative, product, analytics, merchandising, legal, and regional market teams. Comfortable working globally and navigating market nuance while protecting consistency of brand expression. A strong people leader who can coach teams, build clarity, and create momentum in complex, evolving environments. Equally comfortable setting direction, influencing senior stakeholders, and getting into the details to move work forward.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leading global or multi-market integrated marketing programs.

  • Experience across retail moments, promotional campaigns, product or feature launches, and always-on marketing.

  • Experience with loyalty strategy, CRM planning, and member engagement programs.

  • Familiarity with travel, e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer technology businesses.

  • Strong command of messaging development, creative briefing, and cross-channel planning.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $207,500.00 to $290,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $332,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in Beverly Hills is $207,500.00 to $290,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $332,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $207,500.00 to $290,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $332,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
