Director Imaging Services

About the role

The Director of Imaging Services oversees the entire imaging team, including echocardiography, MRI, 64-slice CT, mammography, and cardiovascular/cardiac diagnostics. They manage all areas, including working diagnostic imaging coordinators and modality team leaders, and through them, manage all professional and support staff. The role requires the successful improvement of services as evidenced by growing market share.

Responsibilities

• Manages the entire imaging team, including echocardiography, MRI, 64-slice CT, mammography, and cardiovascular/cardiac diagnostics.
• Works closely with diagnostic imaging coordinators and modality team leaders to ensure smooth operations.
• Manages professional and support staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Improves services by focusing on growing market share.
• Directs efforts towards the successful improvement of services.
• Oversees operations at the Holy Cross Hospital locations: West Valley, Jordan Valley, and Mountain Point.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an approved school of radiologic technologist required.
• 3 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with strong business and strategic planning skills.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally.
