Responsibilities
The Director of Imaging Services assists with the development, interpretation and application of department policies, along with budgets and long range plans. Provides administrative direction on all imaging modalities for immediate adjustment of operations as needed.
This individual leads the Imaging departments in maintaining a culture of safety and excellence in customer service. Responsible for leading, enhancing, directing, monitoring and controlling all operational services in the Imaging Department to ensure cost efficient, high quality patient care.
This position is accountable for assessing, planning, developing, implementing and coordinating strategies and tactics of Imaging Services to achieve optimal performance, cost efficiency, growth, clinical superiority and market leadership.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include: ARRT-R (Radiography), RT (Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer) license, Bachelor's degree, and minimal 3 years clinical experience in Imaging, as well as 3+ years managerial experience in a hospital setting.
