Director, HR
Description
The Opportunity As Director, Human Resources, you will lead the people strategy for Smurfit Westrock’s Corrugated Container US Midwest Region, supporting five business areas and approximately 25 manufacturing sites. Partnering with senior leaders, you will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across the full employee lifecycle, developing a strong HR team and delivering scalable, business aligned solutions that enable growth, performance, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business or related field preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive HRBP experience in global, matrixed, manufacturing organizations
- Labor Relations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong operational and business acumen with credibility across senior and frontline leadership
- Proven ability to lead workforce strategy, organizational change, and performance improvement
- Data driven, results focused leader with strong influence and execution capability
- Frequent travel required
