About the Role

As the Director Global Human Resources at HCA Healthcare, you will collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive high performance across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of global HR practices, cultural sensitivities, and business acumen to effectively support diverse teams and regions.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management:
    • Assist in demonstrating service excellence to all customers and ensure a positive first impression.
    • Plan, implement, and oversee special projects to ensure effective delivery of Division-wide HR Services using project and portfolio management standards.
    • Research and analyze HR trends and policies, making recommendations as appropriate.
  • Human Resource Business Partner Support and Knowledge:
    • Lead organizational design, change management, and workforce planning initiatives to align with business objectives.
    • Partner with senior leadership to develop HR strategies and solutions that support organizational goals.
    • Utilize HR analytics and metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR processes and outcomes.
    • Lead or participate in global HR projects aimed at enhancing employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Business Human Resource Capabilities:
    • Leverage business strategy and understanding to provide HR solutions that drive business performance.
    • Consider internal and external factors when solving problems and making decisions, recognizing strategic opportunities.
    • Evaluate business contexts and trends to deliver workforce solutions that impact critical business outcomes.
    • Follow standards to complete processes and improve operational efficiency.
    • Build trust and credibility as a valuable member of the business leadership team.
    • Navigate organizational dynamics to negotiate, influence, and engage with key stakeholders.
    • Maintain effective relationships across the organization through open and friendly communication.
    • Design and develop business reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years at the senior level.
  • SPHR certification is preferred.
