Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate scheduling, pre-employment processes, and new hire onboarding
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding documentation, employee files, and HR records
  • Coordinate temporary staffing agencies and assist with workforce planning and staffing needs
  • Track HR metrics, including turnover, attendance, staffing levels, and time-to-fill
  • Review timekeeping records and provide payroll support, including resolving discrepancies
  • Assist with invoice tracking and reconciliation for staffing agencies and HR-related vendors
  • Support compliance with employment laws and HR requirements, including FMLA, ADA, I-9, and company policies
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation documentation, safety training, and compliance initiatives
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, investigations, and corrective actions
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, employee questions, and benefits administration
  • Support performance reviews, employee development, and training initiatives
  • Maintain HRIS data and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date
  • Generate HR reports and identify opportunities to improve HR processes
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company culture initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of Human Resources, HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or similar experience
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and payroll/timekeeping
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance, including FMLA, ADA, and I-9 requirements
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or other high-volume workforce experience preferred

Pay

$60,000 - $75,000 per year
