About the role

Zydus Therapeutics is building the analytics engine for the anticipated US launch of saroglitazar in PBC. We seek a highly motivated Director, Field & Market Access Data Analytics to serve as the strategic analytics partner supporting customer-facing teams. This critical individual contributor role will deliver actionable insights, performance analytics, and data-driven recommendations to enable field execution excellence and market access success. The Director will leverage key data assets including Komodo, Veeva Compass, lab data, Definitive Healthcare, MMIT, specialty pharmacy/distribution data, and Patient Hub to support field sales, key account managers (KAMs), and thought leader liaison (TLL) teams.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Field Analytics & Insights:
    • Serve as the primary analytics partner for Field Sales, KAM, and TLL organizations.
    • Develop actionable insights for customer segmentation, targeting, territory planning, account prioritization, and field execution strategies.
    • Analyze healthcare claims, laboratory, provider, and account-level data to identify trends and performance drivers.
    • Design and enhance field performance dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs for data-driven performance management.
    • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business-critical decision-making.
  • Market Access & Payer Analytics:
    • Partner with Market Access leadership to evaluate payer, account, and reimbursement dynamics.
    • Assess coverage policies, reimbursement trends, and access barriers using MMIT and related datasets.
    • Analyze specialty pharmacy/distribution and Patient Hub data to improve customer experience.
    • Enable data-driven account segmentation, payer strategy, and key account planning through advanced analytics and predictive insights.
    • Design reporting to proactively manage market access performance and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
  • Customer, Provider & Thought Leader Analytics:
    • Leverage Definitive Healthcare, claims, and lab data to identify high-value accounts and prescriber opportunities.
    • Support TLL activities through profiling and prioritization of key opinion leaders.
    • Analyze referral patterns, patient flow, and treatment pathways for strategic engagement planning.
  • Launch Readiness & Commercial Strategy:
    • Support pre-launch planning with patient, provider, account, and market opportunity assessments.
    • Deliver analytics for patient identification, diagnosis rates, and market development initiatives.
    • Provide forecasting inputs and market sizing analyses for strategic planning.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership:
    • Collaborate with Field Teams, Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Finance to translate business questions into analytics solutions.
    • Present findings to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor on healthcare data interpretation and application.
  • Vendor & Data Management:
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely access to high-quality commercial data.
    • Manage relationships with data providers (e.g., Komodo, Veeva Compass, MMIT, Definitive Healthcare).
    • Monitor data quality and compliance with healthcare data usage guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH) preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech analytics, commercial operations, or market access.
  • Experience supporting field sales, account management, or market access functions.
  • Proficiency with healthcare claims, laboratory, provider, or payer data (e.g., Komodo, Veeva Compass, MMIT, Definitive Healthcare).
  • Experience developing field force analytics, customer targeting, and performance reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, specialty markets, and payer dynamics.
  • Dashboard/visualization skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Schedule

Hybrid/office-based position located in Pennington, NJ. Domestic travel up to 15–20% required.

Pay

$225,000 – $240,000 per year.
