About the role

As the Deputy Director, Federal Market Solutions, you will manage partner relationships and programs between Federal Market Solutions and our Government customers and vendors while serving as Director to the FMS Vice President. You will organize and lead the Federal Market Solutions Program Management team initiatives from program inception to delivery and sustainment, following an outcome-based, agile-focused approach.

  • Collaborate with HIS product owners, software development teams, technical teams, and senior leadership to define project objectives.
  • Understand Profit and Loss concepts and milestone management aligned to financials to ensure FMS is prepared to assume solutions that specifically support government initiatives and products, with the ability to understand current and future strategic initiatives and provide recommendations for both short- and long-term development.
  • Develop and implement project management controls to accomplish financial, schedule, deliverable, staffing, and quality assurance contractual requirements.
  • Develop new proposals and strategy to win future Government awards from Federal with an understanding of firm fixed-price contracts and milestone-based payments.
  • Perform other related tasks on an ad hoc basis in support of Solventum Federal Market Solutions with a growth mindset and understanding of the relationship between revenue and implementation.

You will supervise EI&T, Client Advocate, Program and Project Managers, and FedRAMP/Cybersecurity teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience with program management, medical coding, or strategic client partnerships.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience analyzing and documenting processes.
  • Must be located in the United States and able to pass a Government background check for a position of Public Trust.

Qualifications

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed further in this role include:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare or another related field.
  • Change Management experience, including the ability to lead change effectively.
  • Experience with Solventum Coding & Reimbursement and Solventum 360 Encompass Computer Assisted Coding and Professional Coding or comparable software.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Project and MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with IL3 and IL4, RMF, ATOs, FedRAMP, and the 3PAO process.
  • Experience within DoD and VA healthcare environments with direct responsibility for project or program management activities.
  • Experience briefing executive-level personnel.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large and sometimes complex workloads under time constraints.

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Onboarding Requirement

To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. New employees hired for this position with a start date of October 1st, 2025, or later will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. This requirement applies to US applicants only.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $211,600 - $290,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
