Federal Market Director

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Federal Market Director to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear market development strategy for Federal clients
• Coordinate with peers on strategic initiatives within Infrastructure and Geospatial sectors
• Lead the evaluation of financial objectives focusing on sales growth
• Drive the business plan to align with sector strategies
• Build trusted advisor relationships with clients for revenue growth
• Be an expert on client's business models and relevant market data
• Grow the business by expanding existing opportunities and securing new clients
• Manage and lead a team focused on Federal client engagement

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in the Federal Market
• Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering; business degree preferred
• State Registration(s) in Architecture or Engineering is a plus
• Strong reputation and connections in the Federal marketplace
• Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution capabilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
