About the Role

This role is the single-threaded owner for the flagship user conference, internal, and executive events portfolio. As a senior individual contributor, you will lead the most visible, complex, and strategically important moments with customers, prospects, executives, and employees. Operating with significant autonomy and executive exposure, you will lead through influence, manage a fully embedded agency, a large budget, and a complex vendor ecosystem. Success requires strategic thinking, flawless execution under pressure, and the ability to translate executive and GTM priorities into cohesive, high-impact live experiences that drive pipeline, engagement, and brand trust. This role is critical to maintaining continuity, quality, and momentum for events as they scale in size, complexity, and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, execution, and post-event reporting for the annual user conference, including attendee experience, executive programming, content flow, sponsorship experience, and onsite operations.
  • Serve as the stakeholder for internal events such as company kickoffs, leadership offsites, executive summits, and key internal moments, partnering closely with Corporate Marketing and Field & Events teams to align with leadership objectives and company priorities.
  • Lead and manage external agencies across production, creative, logistics, registration technology, and onsite execution, ensuring they operate as true extensions of the team.
  • Partner closely with Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Campaigns, Brand, Comms, Sales, Finance, Legal, and People teams to ensure events align tightly with GTM strategy, messaging, and revenue goals.
  • Act as a trusted partner to executive leadership by owning executive prep, briefing, and onsite support, anticipating needs, and ensuring leaders are set up for success.
  • Continuously improve event operations and attendee experience through tooling, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Own post-event reporting and insights, including pipeline influence, engagement metrics, and qualitative feedback, using learnings to shape future strategy.
  • Drive effective budget management across multiple concurrent events, maintaining complex, multi-line-item budgets in real time and partnering with Finance and Procurement on forecasting, PO management, invoice reconciliation, and vendor contracts.
  • Support global expansion of the event strategy by planning and executing events across regions and time zones, ensuring programming is locally relevant while aligned with global brand and GTM standards.
  • Drive operational excellence across timelines, contracts, run-of-show documents, risk management, and vendor coordination for large-scale, multi-day events.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience owning large-scale user conferences, internal events, or complex live experiences catered to executive audiences in high-growth environments.
  • Proven track record of serving as the single owner for highly visible, high-budget programs with executive-level exposure.
  • Deep experience managing agencies and external vendors, including setting direction, holding partners accountable, and driving cost efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor who executes details directly while also directing agency partners and leading cross-functionally through influence rather than formal authority.
  • Strong operational discipline across program management, budgeting, contracts, and cross-functional execution.
  • Comfort working directly with executive stakeholders and navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tight timelines.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, or similarly complex GTM organizations strongly preferred.
