Responsibilities

  • Aids the Vice Presidents (VPs) and fellow Directors in the creation and execution of a strategic plan and annual goals.
  • Aids VPs and fellow Directors in the development and implementation of programs and activities designed to enhance a positive workplace and improve team member engagement.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of TH's team member orientation, ongoing education, and competency assessments according to internal HMH policies and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure regulatory standards are integrated into all competency-related education and appropriately documented.
  • Maintains awareness of policy and standard changes from OSHA, CMS, State of New Jersey, The Joint Commission, and other relevant entities to inform program and policy development.
  • Monitors and manages staff annual competencies, skills checklists, and remediation as necessary.
  • Anticipates and mitigates future skills gaps through innovative education and development programming.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements new education and development programs to support evolving strategic objectives.
  • Buys into third-party resources, vendors, and partners to introduce innovative and experiential learning models.
  • Oversees HMH New Hire and Annual Basic Training related to Team Health topics.
  • Ensures clinical policies and procedures are approved and integrated into the electronic intranet system and disseminated to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Completes other duties as assigned (e.g., lead/participate in additional projects/initiatives).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, science, biology, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in education and program/curriculum design.
  • Minimum of 3 years management/leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with regulatory standards and compliance (e.g., OSHA, NJDOHSS, CDC, TJC, etc.).
  • Project management, process improvement, and strategic planning experience.
  • Data management, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
