About the role
The Director, Cardiology and Connectivity Solutions provides strategic and operational leadership for a multidisciplinary commercial organization focused on cardiology hardware, ECG management solutions, one cardiology portfolio offerings, and enterprise connectivity offerings. This role is accountable for driving revenue growth, defining and executing go-to-market strategies, and leading national sales and technical teams. The Director ensures strong alignment across cross-functional stakeholders and carries significant leadership responsibility, quota ownership, and executive authority for pricing and contractual decisions.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & People Management
- Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, corrective actions, and terminations for direct reports.
- Develop talent through ongoing assessment of skills, performance, and development needs.
- Establish and monitor individual and team performance metrics, dashboards, and accountability frameworks.
- Travel extensively with team members to evaluate selling effectiveness, customer engagement quality, and market dynamics.
- Commercial Strategy & Revenue Management
- Define and execute commercial strategies for cardiology and connectivity solutions, aligned with corporate objectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM discipline.
- Lead quarterly pipeline health reviews, revenue quality assessments, and quarterly actuals and performance analyses.
- Define and lead growth opportunities for ACM utilizing the relationships and network of the Cardiology Sales Executives.
- Provide regional and national sales support for complex, strategic, or executive-level customer engagements as needed.
- Customer & Market Engagement
- Serve as an executive-level commercial leader in key customer, OEM partners and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) relationships.
- Lead IDN pricing strategy development and contract negotiation efforts for Cardio Server.
- Serve as the final approver for Cardio Server pricing and commercial quotes.
- Negotiate Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), End User License Agreements (EULAs), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements, and other legal documents as required for Cardio Server.
- Ensure pricing, contracting, and commercial practices comply with internal policy and external regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Downstream Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders on value messaging, campaigns, partner strategy, and go-to-market execution.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Professional Services to ensure alignment on strategy, processes, and execution across the customer lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of people management experience in a sales or commercial leadership environment. Experience leading multi-role sales organizations (e.g., hunters, farmers).
- Progressive experience in healthcare sales, technical or solution-based selling, or enterprise commercial leadership. Knowledge of clinical workflows for cardiology and IT is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience hiring, developing, coaching, and managing high-performing sales organizations.
- Familiarity with Front Line Care sales processes and product portfolios preferred.
- Proven experience negotiating and approving complex healthcare commercial agreements, including BAAs, SaaS, and EULAs.
- Strong executive presence with exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.
- Proven expertise in revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene.
- Experience with executive-level negotiations and complex deal structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay
The estimated base salary for this position is $208,000 - $286,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
