Responsibilities
- Proactively and consistently communicate with key project stakeholders to ensure alignment, visibility, and shared understanding of priorities and progress.
- Collect/provide feedback on BIM/VDC tools and workflows; help translate them into actionable improvement items.
- Participate in proposal development and drive the creation of project-based Digital Execution Plans.
- Manage BIM staff (professional development, resource planning, mentoring, etc.).
- Effectively communicate BIM/VDC plans, benefits, risks, and capabilities to clients, consultants, and CMs.
- Manage onboarding and training content, processes, and evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of experience in BIM/VDC, digital delivery, construction technology, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency with BIM/VDC and digital tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Dynamo, Power BI, Excel).
- Proven ability to translate complex project data into actionable insights, executive reporting, and improved delivery performance.
- Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes across multiple projects and stakeholders with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
- BIM/VDC certifications (e.g., Autodesk, CM-BIM, buildingSMART/IFC, Lean/Six Sigma).
- Leadership experience in complex delivery models (Design-Build, EPCM, CM-at-Risk, life sciences/industrial).
- Strong organization, time management, and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Experience driving technology adoption, change, and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods of sitting while working at a computer, with frequent use of keyboard and mouse, and multiple monitors.
- Frequent use of visual acuity to interpret and discuss digital models and drawings.
- Ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
- Occasional local or regional travel to project sites, offices, or client meetings.
- Navigate stairs, uneven surfaces, or temporary site conditions.
- Minimal lifting of laptops, monitors, or printed materials, generally no more than 10-25 pounds.
