About the role
The position is incentive eligible and part of a larger investment in team members by HCA Healthcare, committing up to $300 million over three years.
Responsibilities
- Administer and evaluate the operations of ICU, IMC, Float Pool and House Supervisors units.
- Plan, administer, and evaluate the operations of his/her respective unit(s).
- Provide oversight and direction to multiple departments and assigned managers within the hospital.
- Direct the care of the adult critically ill population, as well as the care of the chronically ill elderly patients.
- Manage the flow of patients and information to expedite care, collaborating with the physicians.
- Demonstrate clinical competency and nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care.
- Contribute to the Ogden Regional Department of Nursing and the nursing profession in a positive manner.
- Manage the standards and scope of nursing practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in Critical Care.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
- FEMA/NIMS IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS800 withing 90 days of hire.
