About the role

Lead the planning, development and implementation of innovative community-focused prevention programs and initiatives at one of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals. Oversee strategy to meet population needs and demonstrate impact, build and maintain strong partnerships with community and internal stakeholders, and manage staff and budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and implementation of innovative community engagement strategy and initiatives focused on amplifying Children’s community impact.
• Oversee community partnerships with community and internal stakeholders.
• Lead team comprised of Rural Program Manager, Community Outreach professionals and Affiliations Operations Director.
• Develop comprehensive community engagement strategy in partnership with VP, Child Advocacy, and other key system stakeholders.
• Recommend and develop creative solutions and innovative initiatives focused on impacting communities in and around metro Atlanta.
• Ensure programs are communicated internally and externally.
• Measure and report on program outcomes and demonstrate impact.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of project planning and execution.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful people management experience including coaching and budget management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public health administration or other health-related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Business Administration or Master of Public Health.
