Director, Commercialization
Essential Functions
- Lead end-to-end commercialization strategy and execution, ensuring transition of products from development through launch while meeting objectives and timelines
- Define and drive short- and long-term strategic plans for commercialization and product delivery through evaluation of market trends, product viability, and operational business capabilities, ensuring accountability across functions
- Oversee the transition of products from development to release, ensuring operational support structures, test tools, and product requirements are fully defined and implemented to ensure scalability, reliability, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee implementation initiatives, establishing milestones, managing dependencies, and ensuring adherence to budget, scope, and contractual commitments
- Establish and continuously improve implementation processes, policies, and standards related to client onboarding, system configuration, data management, and user adoption to drive efficiency and consistency
- Direct cross-functional delivery of product and technology solutions, coordinating with IT, Product, R&D, Operations, and external partners to implement systems, tools, and processes that support product lifecycle management
- Track product performance, client satisfaction, and adoption metrics, driving continuous improvement; establish systems to monitor KPIs, business results, and organizational health
- Drive communications and create clear, aligned messaging for employees, customers, executives, investors, and the board, while supporting key forums—town halls, all hands, leadership updates, and change initiatives—to ensure consistency and reinforce business strategy
- Lead high impact, cross functional initiatives by driving executive sponsored projects, removing organizational barriers to accelerate decisions, and developing a high performing implementation and commercialization team
People Management
- Accountable for team staffing and managing direct reports to include development, performance management, goal setting, and other managerial duties
- Ensures direct reports are aware of and follow ethical business practices and Company’s Code of Conduct to maintain a supportive and productive working environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
- 10 years experience in product management, commercialization, implementation, or related discipline
- 5 years leadership or people management experience
Preferred Requirements
- Experience leading commercialization in a technology, software, or product driven environment
- Experience working in cross-functional environments spanning Product, IT, Operations, and Sales
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management, system integrations, or enterprise software implementation
- Experience driving process improvement and operational scaling initiatives

- Ability to analyze product performance, identify gaps, and implement data-driven improvements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present to and influence senior leadership
- Technical aptitude and ability to understand systems architecture, integrations, and product development processes
