About the role
GroupeSTAHL is a leading international manufacturer, distributor, and direct supplier in the field of custom textile printing.
Shift: 3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 pm - 7 am
Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent performance, quality, and safety of equipment and software used in the Digital production department.
- Manage and replenish sales inventory needed for production services, and all consumables needed to maintain the equipment in use.
- Troubleshoot equipment and software issues during production and correct/repair issues to return software and equipment to service as soon as possible.
- Diagnose software issues and restore communication between equipment and software.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, deep cleaning, testing, adjustments, and calibration of all production equipment.
- Analyze periodic printer test prints to identify and diagnose issues, and perform adjustments and repairs to maintain print quality and consistency.
- Gain capability to operate all Digital equipment to effectively identify and correct issues, and assist production with completion of customer orders.
- Manage and perform weekly replenishment of sales inventory needed for production orders.
- Maintain and replenish consumables and parts needed for production equipment.
- Unload and receive freight deliveries as necessary, and assist with shipping orders when needed.
- Assist with the development and evaluation of new products, equipment, and processes.
Requirements
- Microsoft Office Excel and Word software skills.
- Basic math skills, including understanding of and ability to convert between the imperial and metric systems.
- Understanding of and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, material handling equipment, and meters.
- Able to understand and assist with color management and profiling.
- Able to research equipment and study skills to perform all tasks at the highest level possible.
- Forklift operation certification.
- Lifting capability up to 80 pounds.
