Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the useful life of equipment
• This is done regularly as assigned by the business
• Prior to production changes, this employee performs equipment change-overs and production line set-ups to prepare for production
• Overhaul and install new equipment on to machines as directed by the business
• Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate inventory
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma (or equivalent) required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
