Direct to Consumer Gaming Category Manager, Ecommerce

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Direct to Consumer (DTC) Gaming Category Manager to manage our online business. This role is an ecommerce-focused category management position that showcases an outstanding balance of ecommerce and product management expertise. As the DTC eCommerce Category Manager for Gaming in North America, you will own the growth and profitability story for one of Logitech’s most iconic portfolios. You will be the commercial business owner for LogitechG.com in the U.S. and Canada, responsible for full category performance, including long-term strategy, in-quarter execution, and driving a plan to consistently outpace the market with a focus on ecommerce levers such as pricing, product, placement, and promotions.
This role requires approximately 15% travel for internal meetings, industry conferences (as required), and on-site customer visits to strengthen partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial growth: Own the quarterly and yearly revenue and profitability targets for LogitechG.com across the U.S. and Canada. Monitor daily key performance indicators, spot trends early, and articulate necessary interventions.
- Build and execute regional plans: Translate global category strategies into high-impact regional plans focusing on promotions, pricing, product, and placement across multiple gaming categories. Own the go-to-market strategy for iconic gaming brands delivered through the ecommerce platform.
- Master bottom-up forecasting: Manage in-quarter demand forecasts and category outlooks. Partner closely with Supply Chain and Operations teams to maintain healthy inventory levels and resolve availability challenges.
- Lead end-to-end product launches: Ensure 360-degree commercial readiness for major new gaming product launches and key events. Conduct post-mortem analyses to turn performance data into actionable insights for future rollouts.
- Champion the player experience: Regularly explore and test digital storefronts from a customer’s perspective. Collaborate with Merchandising and Platform teams to advocate for feature upgrades, site improvements, and UX enhancements.
- Connect cross-functional partners: Serve as the go-to regional contact for DTC Gaming, working across analytics, marketing, and global product teams to streamline workflows and unlock new opportunities.
- Protect market competitiveness: Track real-time pricing and channel dynamics to ensure the direct experience remains competitive while maintaining healthy margins.
- Bring an outside-in point of view: Incorporate benchmarking information from local competitors and best practices from other geographies to define a best-in-class customer experience.
Requirements
- Ecommerce Experience: Proven experience managing the funnel (Spend, Traffic, Mix, Conversion) along with modern ecommerce KPIs (Bounce, Forward Progress, Landing Page Success, Upsell/Cross-Sell, Cart/Conversion).
- Category Management Experience: Proven track record of driving a category’s long-term growth targets and profitability, including forecasting, 4P management, omnichannel experience, and P&L ownership. Understanding of the PC accessories landscape.
- Project Management Experience: Strong project/program management, marketing skills, consensus-building, and ability to coordinate resources from a variety of supporting teams.
- Team Player: Passion for being on a team with a vision to enhance culture through communication, connection, and collaboration.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to translate web traffic, conversion funnel metrics, and promotional performance into clear action steps and forecasts. Proficiency in creating compelling stories using innovative technologies (such as AI) for presentations.
- Proactive Ownership: Comfortable making decisions, driving alignment across matrix teams, and taking hands-on accountability for outcomes. Ability to drive "asks" without waiting for permission.
- Clear Communicator: Build trust quickly across multicultural teams and present complex commercial updates with confidence and clarity. Strong judgment, influencing skills, and active listening.
- Partnership Building: Experience integrating partnerships (esports or otherwise), talent (influencers), and social media marketing into broader marketing plans/campaigns/events to drive higher reach and engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with direct-to-consumer web platforms, promotional management tools, and ecommerce analytics suites.
- Driven self-starter who can own and drive a clear vision while adapting to a fast-paced market. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Schedule
This is a hybrid position. The successful candidate is expected to work hybrid either from Dallas, Texas; Doral, Florida; Irvine, CA; or San Jose, CA offices 2–3 days per week, with the remaining days remote. Specific onsite days will be coordinated with your manager and team.
Pay
This position offers an annual base salary typically between $114,000 and $193,000, depending on location and experience.
