Direct Support Professionals in Blaine

About the role

We are looking for Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team in Blaine, MN. As a DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and maintain a high quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and housekeeping services
• Assist the residents in developing or executing independent living skills
• Provide written and/or electronic communication
• Accompany residents to appointments, via van transport, when necessary

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals
• A demonstrated customer-service approach to work
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to self-motivate and effectively manage time and shift priorities
• Ability to effectively communicate with the resident and provider
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English in order to ensure accurate communication and documentation
• Must pass a background check and meet other employment requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Physical requirements for the role
• Drug test required
