Description
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them with various daily activities such as household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, attending medical appointments, banking, and more.
Qualifications
- Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities
- Variety of interests and personal connections in the local community
- Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior
- Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team
Requirements
- 21+ years old with reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in fluent English
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, or double shifts
Pay
$17.50-$19.00 per hour
