About the role

The Adult Ability Center (AAC) is dedicated to helping adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities build independence, confidence, and meaningful life experiences. Direct Support Professionals play a crucial role in this mission by supporting clients in various activities and fostering positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients practice cooking skills
• Exploring community activities
• Supporting emotional regulation strategies
• Working on employment goals
• Attending music or art activities
• Celebrating small wins with clients

Requirements

No prior experience is required, but preferred qualifications include:

• Experience providing job coaching skills to adult clients with disabilities
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Pay

Range starts at $17/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:30pm
