About the role
The Adult Ability Center (AAC) is dedicated to helping adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities build independence, confidence, and meaningful life experiences. Direct Support Professionals play a crucial role in this mission by supporting clients in various activities and fostering positive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Helping clients practice cooking skills
- Exploring community activities
- Supporting emotional regulation strategies
- Working on employment goals
- Attending music or art activities
- Celebrating small wins with clients
Requirements
No prior experience is required, but preferred qualifications include:
- Experience providing job coaching skills to adult clients with disabilities
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Pay
Range starts at $17/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related experience)
