Responsibilities
- Assist people with their personal hygiene
- Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
- Implement formal/informal crisis plans, program plans and/or behavioral objectives using person-centered planning
- Maintain documentation, record keeping and participate in regular meetings
- Complete required training
- Respond to crises, monitor safety, and provide support and supervision in a positive therapeutic manner with the least restrictive methods of positive intervention
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 3 years of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- DSP3 Experience Requirements
