Dining Services Supervisor

About the role

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests, oversee service staff, and interact with them while maintaining a safe and sanitary dining environment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for resident/guest satisfaction, responding quickly to their needs and requests.
• Ensure timely delivery of room service orders and proper handling of resident/guest billing of food service charges.
• Manage dining staff, assist in producing weekly schedules, and ensure there are adequate numbers of employees for each shift.
• Oversee the opening of the dining room and assist service staff during mealtime as needed.
• Lead the training of new dining room employees and manage their performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of previous Food Service experience.
• Management experience is not required but a plus.
• Must have Serv Safe and/or other required local, county or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and often.
• A positive and professional attitude with the ability to give clear direction in a respectful manner.
• The ability to take pride in the quality and presentation of food prepared and the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
• A generous amount of patience and effective communication skills with various personalities.

Tuesday-Saturday 11a-7:30p
